1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Shipider (“Shipider,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website, register for an account, or use the Shipider warehouse management platform (the “Services”).

When we process personal data on behalf of a Customer in connection with their use of the Services, we act as a data processor. The terms of that processing are described in our Data Processing Addendum.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, and password. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your full credit card details.

2.2 Usage data

We collect information about how you use the Services, including order counts, feature usage, and performance metrics to improve our product.

2.3 Warehouse data

Order, pallet, customer, and SKU data you enter into the system is stored to provide the Service functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Services; process payments; send service-related communications; improve features and user experience; ensure security and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, regular backups, and monitoring. Each company's data is logically isolated in our multi-tenant architecture. See our Security page for more detail.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe) for billing; cloud infrastructure providers for hosting; and as required by law. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account termination, we retain data for 30 days to allow for recovery, then permanently delete it. You may request data export or deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; export your data in a standard format; and object to certain processing activities. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. No consent banner is needed as we only use strictly necessary cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this Policy

We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
